A new chance to enjoy Alison Neil's one-woman-show Truly Yours, C.B. :
Truly Yours, C.B. The Story of Charlotte Brontë
Written & performed by Alison Neil
Directed by David Collison
HADCAF, Hungerford and District Community Arts Festival
July 11, The Croft Hall 7:30pm
Hungerford, West Berkshire

This enthralling and moving play recreates a life as remarkable as any novel. Determined, brilliant and romantic, Charlotte managed – despite her background and all the constrictions of early Victorian life - the incredible feat of becoming a hugely famous novelist, and the instant success of Jane Eyre, Shirley and Villette found her mixing with the literary giants of the age. Former West End actress Alison Neil has written and performed several highly-acclaimed one-woman shows (including The Sixth Wife which she performed at HADCAF last year). She is also an historical researcher and writer for such large-scale events as the VE Day Celebrations in Hyde Park and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Pageant.

Tickets £6 from Newbury Building Society (Hungerford)
