We have received more information regarding the screening of the new BBC Jane Eyre in London next September 16. The time and date remain the same and some people have already confirmed they will be there:

Ruth Wilson who plays Jane , the director Susannah White (Bleak House) , the Producer Diederick Santer, and Sandy Welch who adapted it and are all confirmed for the Q&A.

But they are still awaiting other confirmations from the rest of the cast so that there will probably be more people attending. It seems that - as predicted - Toby Stephens won't be taking part in the event.

We have also been informed that Mathew Sweet the presenter of The Culture Show and writer of Shepperton Babylon be hosting the event.

And finally as if anyone needs even more to be tempted:

This is a fantastic opportunity to see the programme on one of the best screens in Europe in a world class venue, to be able to question the cast and director in an intimate environment about the challenges of committing such a well loved masterpiece to the screen and hear Ruth Wilson's thoughts on playing one of the great heroines of English literature.

There might be some other surprises as far as this event is concerned so I'd suggest you stay tuned!
