An alert from Haworth for today, June 3:
Haworth Storytelling Festival

A one day family event celebrating the forms of storytelling from classic tales to modern urban legends and delivered through several performances using traditional story circles, images, technology and music.

To compliment the different events there will be facepainting, craft activities, stalls, food, refreshments and a few surprises too.

The festival will take place in the heart of one of the most famous storytelling locations in the World, Ferndean Manor near Haworth. The event itself will be hosted in and around the estate of Ferndean Manor (the building that inspired the home of Edward Rochester and Jane Eyre in Charlotte Brontë's novel 'Jane Eyre'.)
