The Brontë blogosphere is very active and growing:

The Brontë Parsonage Blog publishes a very nice post where Maddalena De Leo reminds her correspondence with the late Charles Lemon.

A new Brontë Blog, The Brussels Brontë Blog emerges on the blogosphere. In the first article, the author gives his opinion of how to adapt Jane Eyre for TV:
Mine would be an adaptation that would "adapt" the original as little as possible, and certainly not to "modern taste", introduce a new generation to a classic of English literature as it was written rather than re-create it to suit the fickle fashion of the times with an eye on TV ratings. It is an adaptation that will, of course, never be made. (Read more)
EDIT: For some reason this post has now been deleted and replaced by a post that states the purpose of the blog:
The Brussels Brontë Group was originally formed by Brontë Society members in Belgium and the Netherlands to bring together people interested in the Brontës and in the Brussels places with Brontë associations. It soon grew to include members of many different countries and nationalities: British, Belgian, Dutch, French, German and others.
And now, some brief notes:

The Villette LibriVox project is finally finished. It can be found here (Total running time: 20:25:58)

Time and Tea reviews Jane Eyre: Strength of Character in Jane Eyre, and The Bluestocking's Blog reviews Anne Brontë's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.

And if you are interested in how Emily Brontë's poem To Imagination could look in Japanese, here is your chance.
