Heather, from
LibriVox, has written to let us know that she's currently coordinating a project on Villette. LibriVox's motto is "acoustical liberation of books in the public domain" so Heather's is a fabulous project from start to finish.
The way it works is, you post a reply in the forum picking a part of those offered - individual chapters in this case - and then you might get to record it. Once you've recorded it meeting their technical qualifications, it's posted on
their site for everyone to listen to it. Isn't that great?
