Villette - a LibriVox project

Heather, from LibriVox, has written to let us know that she's currently coordinating a project on Villette. LibriVox's motto is "acoustical liberation of books in the public domain" so Heather's is a fabulous project from start to finish.

The way it works is, you post a reply in the forum picking a part of those offered - individual chapters in this case - and then you might get to record it. Once you've recorded it meeting their technical qualifications, it's posted on their site for everyone to listen to it. Isn't that great?

See this thread in the message board for further details on how everything works. The deadline for the project is July 1, 2006. So - what are you waiting for?
