Wuthering Heights feature film project

Silcock-2 on the imdb board of 1992's Wuthering Heights has made an interesting discovery (thanks to the anonymous reader that has pointed us to the thread discussion). Apparently there's a feature film project about Wuthering Heights (and we are not talking about Jolie's and Depp's one, fortunately):

Ecosse Films list a Wuthering Heights among their lists of projects in development:

Wuthering Heights - Classic adaptation

A psychologically complex adaptation of Emily Bronte’s classic tale of love and revenge, centred on Heathcliff as immigrant and bringing out the youth of the protagonists.

Writer: Olivia Hetreed.

That is interesting news indeed! and I'm extremely relieved it's not the Depp-Jolie rumour; phew!

Who would BronteBlog like for the crucial roles?

BrontëBlog is willing to give anyone a chance as long as they're not the Jolie/Depp pair (much as we love Mr Depp ;) ). Do you have anyone in mind?
