The Yorkshire Post reminds us of the opening of the new exhibitions at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (West Bretton, Wakefield). One of them is Overlay: Sculpture and Drawings by Liadin Cooke (we already posted some previous information some months ago) and contains some artwork Brontë-related:

Overlay: Sculpture and Drawing by Liadin Cooke, includes the artist's response to subjects that vary from Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre to the names of forgotten tulips from the Ottoman Empire.

In our previous post we gave more details:

for example, she has used overpowering colours to show how Bronte's character Jane Eyre felt stifled when she was locked in a room at her aunt's home.
