It seems as if Haworth has gone viral for its autumn. From Yorkshire Live:
While autumn may not be everyone's cup of tea, with its shorter days and gloomier weather, it has a certain charm that can be appreciated in the right setting. And while there are many of these settings in Yorkshire, there's a particular destination that has been popping up on TikTok.
Haworth, a quaint village in West Yorkshire, has become a popular spot for an autumn day out TikTok users have fallen in love with its cosy atmosphere, with one user describing it as the perfect place to "spend a cosy autumnal day".
The village's autumnal charm has even drawn comparisons to the fictional town of Stars Hollow from the hit TV show Gilmore Girls.
A TikTok video showcasing Haworth's autumnal delights has racked up an impressive 108,000 views and over 5,000 likes. The video, posted by user @amyloves.xo, features moody clips of the village's seasonal offerings, including an abundance of pumpkins, wreaths made from autumn leaves, and picturesque bookshops.
The comments section is filled with praise for the village, with one user aptly dubbing it "The UK's Stars Hollow", reports the Manchester Evening News.
Haworth has been featured in @Yorkshirefi's "autumn bucket list for Yorkshire" video, where she suggests popping into The Cabinet of Curiosities in the village, renowned for its "witchy vibes" and recommends an "autumnal walk in the Brontë countryside at Haworth". She also posted a video titled "cosy autumn day in Haworth", highlighting the village as a haven for bibliophiles. [...]
Bookworms will find autumn the perfect season to cosy up with a novel, making the Brontë Parsonage Museum an essential stop. Once the home of the famed Bronte siblings, visitors can immerse themselves in the literary world of the sisters, exploring a vast array of their furniture, clothing, and personal belongings.
Inject a touch of literature into your autumnal stroll by heading to Top Withens, a derelict farmhouse close to Haworth, believed to be the inspiration behind the Wuthering Heights house. Situated on the Pennine Way, this challenging four-mile walk from the village is well worth the effort for the stunning vistas it offers. (Liv Clarke)

Not far from Haworth, in Skipton, a Georgian house is up for sale and Country Life claims things that are not quite true:
An early incumbent of Embsay Kirk was mill owner John Sidgwick of nearby Stone Gappe Hall, who employed Charlotte Brontë as governess to his children in May 1839. The eldest Brontë sister reputedly admired Sidgwick, but disagreed with Sidgwick’s wife regarding their unruly children’s upbringing and returned home to Haworth two months later. In her novel Jane Eyre, Sidgwick is said to have been the model for Mr Rochester and Stone Gappe Hall that of the heroine’s childhood home, Gateshead Hall. In 1847, Sidgwick moved with his family to Embsay Kirk. (Penny Churchill)
The Lantern recommends Jane Eyre as a 'Gothic gem for a rainy day'.
