A musical alert in Leeds for today, November 28:
Strange and Wild / Remote and UnfamiliarNovember 28th, 2018 | Time: 19:30 — 22:00

Leeds Minster (LS2 7DJ)

“Oh these bleak winds and bitter northern skies…”

To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Emily Brontë, Strange and Wild / Remote and Unfamiliar presents a new work based on the harsh Yorkshire landscape of Wuthering Heights.

The concert will feature performances from chamber choir The Clothworkers Consort of Leeds, as well as vibrant folk collective Don’t Feed The Peacocks. Both ensembles will come together in a new fusion piece composed by Claire Victoria Roberts featuring compelling trumpet soloist Simon Desbruslais.
