Thu 14th July, Fri 15th July at 7:30pm

The Senior Youth Theatre present Brontë, a 2005 play by British playwright Polly Teale about the lives of the Brontë sisters, their brother Branwell and their father Patrick.

It is 1845. Branwell Brontë returns to the parsonage in Haworth in disgrace, having lost his job as a tutor after an affair with the mistress of his employer. As he descends into insanity, his sisters, Charlotte, Anne and Emily, go on writing their extraordinary novels, scenes from which punctuate the play, illuminating their lives...

The play will be performed with the audience on stage, with the cast performing with audience on three sides.
EDIT: More information in The Northumberland Gazette.
