The latest album by the singer and guitarist, Dave Edmunds includes an instrumental cover of Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights:
On Guitar... Dave Edmunds: Rags & Classics
Cherry Red Records

Track 4: Wuthering Heights (Composer: Kate Bush) 4:15
Dave Edmunds produces his first ever completely Instrumental album.
Includes seven totally brand new recordings.
The album features classic pop songs favoured by Dave for their arrangements and reinterpreted by Dave as guitar pieces.
Plus traditional picking tunes arranged by Dave, influenced by his favourite guitar pickers such as Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed.
On Noise11 we read Dave Edmunds talking about his album:
“I’ve chosen a selection of what I consider to be ‘classic singles’ from the past, but with a Fender Stratocaster guitar interpretation, along with others reflecting my earlier influences. As with my recent album, Again, there was nobody else in the studio at any time – just the way I like it!”
