Little Red Hen Theatre is trying to bring An Evening with Charlotte Brontë to the Buxton Festival Fringe. If you feel like helping here is their Sponsume advert:
Way back, in 2006, actress Prudence Edwards devised produced and performed a one-woman show: An Evening with Charlotte Brontë. The project was entirely self-funded, and was performed to rural audiences in various locations around the north-west, meeting with rave reviews - "Prudence gives a sensitive interpretation of Charlotte; she is never once out of role…."

The piece brings to life extracts from the works of Charlotte Bronte; her poetry and fiction, including her masterpiece, Jane Eyre; and gives the audience a glimpse into the mind of a genius.

Now, in 2013, Prudence has founded a new, emerging, small theatre company, Little Red Hen Theatre. It is our dream to take An Evening with Charlotte Brontë to the Buxton Festival Fringe, and to reach a wider rural audience.

This will be Little Red Hen Theatre’s first outing, and we intend that it will not be our only outing! Our plan is to return to Buxton in autumn with an exciting Shakespeare production!

Thank you for taking the time to read about Little Red Hen’s Big Buxton Dream!
