From the background of a Yorkshire grandmother, Michelle Cavanaugh explores the Brontë relationship with food, in their own lives and those of some of their characters.

Contributors discuss the role of moors and heaths in literature from the Romantics to Hardy and the history of settlement on Haworth Moor. Curated by artist Simon Warner as part of his Watershed Landscape residency, to accompany his exhibition Ways to the Stone House at the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
