The picture has been removed. Nevertheless, we have to point out that
ReplyDelete1) The picture was freely available on photobucket. The image on our post was a low quality version of the original one.
2) We credited the image, telling the source and linking to the original photobucket link.

The photo was taken without my permission and hosted on photobucketet by another Blogger. This violates photobuckets T&C - I will also be contacting them.
ReplyDeleteThe image you took was not just the low quality one you took the larger version and have hosted it on www.2.bp.blogspot.com which is still there! This is Copyright Infringement.
Ok. If the picture was uploaded to photobucket without your permission, you're absolutely right. We have removed the picture from our post but maybe it's still somewhere in the blogger cache.
ReplyDeleteWe are very sorry if you have feel that we were intentionally violating your rights. We wanted to illustrate a happy Christmas message with a beautiful picture of a place we really love, nothing more. We didn't know that the picture was stored without your consent on photobucket.
We usually upload low resolution pictures in order to avoid problems of connectivity but regrettably in this particular case it seems that your picture was uploaded in full resolution. This was a mistake and we apologize for the comment published before.
Please accept our apologies.
We have contacted blogger and it seems that when you delete a picture from blogger it takes up to 24 hours to disappear. Sorry about the incovenience.
