BrontëBlog would like to wish all Brontëites out there a very happy Christmas: may you 'greet with joy the glorious morn' and may Peace 'smile from heaven' as Anne Brontë put it in her famous poem Music on Christmas Morning.

You can read it, listen to it on LibriVox, with a musical background by Henry J.E. Holmes, read Paul Reiners's score or look at a picture on flickr.

We hope all Brontëites around the world will find a Brontë-connected little something in their stocking!

    1) The picture was freely available on photobucket. The image on our post was a low quality version of the original one.
    2) We credited the image, telling the source and linking to the original photobucket link.

  3. The photo was taken without my permission and hosted on photobucketet by another Blogger. This violates photobuckets T&C - I will also be contacting them.

The image you took was not just the low quality one you took the larger version and have hosted it on www.2.bp.blogspot.com which is still there! This is Copyright Infringement.

  4. Ok. If the picture was uploaded to photobucket without your permission, you're absolutely right. We have removed the picture from our post but maybe it's still somewhere in the blogger cache.

We are very sorry if you have feel that we were intentionally violating your rights. We wanted to illustrate a happy Christmas message with a beautiful picture of a place we really love, nothing more. We didn't know that the picture was stored without your consent on photobucket.

We usually upload low resolution pictures in order to avoid problems of connectivity but regrettably in this particular case it seems that your picture was uploaded in full resolution. This was a mistake and we apologize for the comment published before.

    Please accept our apologies.
