Cover for the UK DVD of Wuthering Heights 2009

The UK release of the Wuthering Heights 2009 DVD is scheduled for next September 7. Nevertheless there is some confusion about the running time:

Wuthering Heights
ITV DVD

On amazon: Run Time: 180 minutes
On movieline: Length: 142 mins
On play.com: 3 hours (approx)

What seems confirmed is that there will also be an edition in Blue-Ray and that the edition contains a 16 minutes behind-the-scenes featurette.

    Just to confuse matters, I have a press release DVD from the USA and it consists of two episodes - 1hr22m and 53m so that would make a total of 2hr 15m (with no adverts).

    We think that the press release that you are referring to talks about the US edition of the DVD, which was released last March. The running times were the same that the ones broadcast on PBS.

    Can you tell me if the UK version has deleted footage from the US version...I am trying to decide which one is better. There is quite a difference in the run time? Does anyone know??
