Charlotte applied an orphan' s story to reflect British women's miserable situation, and also express their strong desires, which they wanted to break away from men's oppression and sex discrimination. This paper, from what Jane Eyre experienced and what she thought about the happenings, analyses Jane Eyre' s rebellious personality, including at her aunt's family, at Lowood School, her love with Rochester and leaving Thornfield.
