A couple of student productions of Brontë-related material:

In Floodwood, Minnesota, a high school production of Jane Eyre: Life at Lowood, a one-act play by Robert Johanson will be performed today, January 26. These are the details of the play:
Cast: 3m., 13w. (extras and/or doubling possible.) Jane Eyre is one of literature's most compelling heroines. This one-act focuses on her difficult youth as an orphan left with uncaring relatives who eventually send her to Lowood—a poor boarding school run by Mr. Brocklehurst. He imposes an overbearing morality while doing nothing about the terrible conditions that take a horrible toll on some but build a strength and deep conviction in young Jane. Her experience is ultimately one of triumph and prepares her for her future as a governess. She forms lifelong friendships, including one with the tragic Helen Burns and the inspiring teacher, Miss Temple. There are many wonderful roles for women, and the Lowood students can number as many as you like. Unit set. Approximate running time: 35 minutes.

And Joy Gregory's Dear Charlotte (more information in this old post of ours and in this review in Variety) has been performed recently across Minnesota:

Farmington students will have the opportunity to perform a portion of a play created by Los Angeles playwright Joy Gregory, who is a writer for the hit television shows “Felicity” and “The Nine.”
Gregory gave permission for the performance after meeting FHS one-act director Rick Halley this summer.
The play “Dear Charlotte” takes audience members through the distressing life of author Charlotte Bronte, from losing her mother and siblings to having to pretend to be a male writer. It will be only the fifth production of the play and represents the first time a public school has been allowed to work with the script.
“Dear Charlotte” will be performed Jan. 17 at the Missota Conference One-Act Festival in Hutchinson, at 7 p.m. on Jan. 22 in the high school auditorium and Jan. 24 at Lakeville South High School. (Kara Hildreth in the
