Brontë Parsonage Museum director Alan Bentley recently e-mailed us with a reminder to keep voting for the Parsonage in the TV programme
Britain's Best. The
Brontë Parsonage Blog today has a post by Alan Bentley himself much in the same vein.
With just 1,500 votes we need your support and as someone who values the Parsonage we would ask that you take the time to vote for us. The website also gives you the opportunity to express why the Parsonage is important to you by writing your own review and/or uploading any images you may have of the Museum.
The direct link for voting can be seen on our sidebar (
or simply click here to vote now) and can be used as many times as our readers see fit. With a little over a month until votation ends on
August 27, we encourage you to do so very often.
But there are more ways of voting:
• texting BEST BRONTE PARSONAGE to 83222 (texts cost 50p plus standard network charges)
• calling 09011 31 2007 and quoting Bronte Parsonage (calls cost 50p)
• or visiting us and posting your vote into our voting box.
• For those of you who have Sky, you can also vote using your Red Button.
The Parsonage - with 1,490 votes at the time of posting this - is currently on the
Historic Houses Top 10. Still it could be doing much, much better, don't you think?
Remember you can vote until
August 27. The final results will be announced on September 17.
As Richard Wilcocks has done over at the
Brontë Parsonage Blog we would like to ask our readers to also vote for
Ann Dinsdale's wonderful book The Brontës at Haworth as the
Yorkshire Book of the Year.
