BrontëBlog jokes that we should have a new category for horses given the relatively big amount of Brontë horses there are.

We have previously have posts on race horses Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë. Like on any gossip column we bring you the latest news and announce that Emily Brontë has a 'son' called Belfast Knight.

Also, Brontë is a popular name among horses. October Farm has a foal named Brontë for sale (picture), 'baby' to Miss Chateleine and Braveheart. Dawn's Space also shows a picture of a horse - a different one - called Brontë.

Really, who would have thought?

Thanks to Paul Dean Daniggelis for the information
