1. The Collecting Place exhibition opens today at the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
Mon 1 May - Sun 11 June - The Collecting Place:

An exhibition of large format photographs produced by photographer Simon Warner, in collaboration with a group of visually impaired young people, using a walk-in camera obscura. The exhibition will feature images of Haworth Parsonage and other Brontë related sites and landmarks in and around Haworth - Brontë Parsonage Museum - free on admission to the Museum.

Japanese ballerina Chika Temma and the Russian ballet star Victor Povavarov will perform the Black Swan Pas de deux and Act 2 in an excerpt from Frederick Ashton's ballet La Fille Mal Gardee.
The stage is set come alive as Jane Kellaghans ballet Wuthering Heights with music by Kate Bush, Alan Foleys ballet Gira Con Me with music by Josh Groban and Judith Sibleys ballet Rainwater with music by Paddy Casey are performed in this wonderful eclectic mix of classical and contemporary (...)
