With the new year a Brontë alert for the Memphis area.

The Memphis Public Library Radio (WYPL FM 89.3) airs a scheduled reading of Jane Eyre:
January 1 to March 12
Mondays 13:00-15:00 Classic Books: Jane Eyre.
All the reading is done by volunteers:
A vital component of both WTTL and WYPL radio has always been the volunteers who do the reading. It is their commitment to the station that has allowed it to continue and to expand its programming. They come in to read at all times of the day, including weekends and holidays. There are currently 185 radio volunteers who last year contributed 4,500 hours.
We suggest that you take a look at our TV/Radio section on our sidebar... 2007 begins with a lot of Brontë alerts.
