3. And a new review for Dame Darcy's illustrated version of Jane Eyre.What happens when you combine "Wuthering Heights" with Alfred Hitchcock's "Rebecca"? You get "The Mystery of Irma Vep," a Victorian drama and Gothic romance like no other. It's made doubly interesting because the entire play is performed by two talented actors who quick-change to play eight characters. Walnut Street regulars Jamie Torcellini and Madi Distefano star in this comedic look at vampires, werewolves and the corseted damsels they threaten.

With fitting Neo-Gothic illustrations by graphic novelist Dame Darcy, it's a worthy addition to any Brontë collector's library and will surely achieve its task of bringing this Victorian classic to a younger generation (BTW, I also think Darcy's work will appeal to any Tara McPherson fans out there).
