Charlotte Brontë and her circle by Clement K. Shorter originally published in 1896, is now available in the Guttenberg Project.

This was the first volume of Charlotte Brontë's letters that was published, when Clement T. Shorter and the infamous T.J. Wise were able to wheedle (in Lucasta Miller's words) Charlotte Brontë's correspondence from Ellen Nussey. Of course the edition is previous to the discovery of the letters to Monsieur Heger.

We have included the corresponding link in our sidebar.
