Some months ago we already posted about Withering Looks, a parody of the Brontës by the comic duo LipService. It seems that this duo is celebrating its 21st anniversary touring around England with Withering Looks.

LipService, Britain's favourite literary lunatics, are 21 this year!
As part of their celebrations, Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding reprise their cult Bronte spoof Withering Looks at a theatre near you!
As 2006 also marks the death 150 years ago of Charlotte Brontë
(sic) Maggie and Sue could hardly turn down the opportunity to dust off their crinolines, wear flattering bonnets and sit at rained-lashed windows in a pale and decorative manner.
Withering Looks takes an insightful look at the lives and works of the Bronte sisters - well, two of them anyway, Anne's just popped out for a cup of sugar following a bout of writer's block. Peopled with many of the characters we know and love, and some quite frankly that LipService have made up, Withering Looks is irreverent and a theatre treat to savour.
Other celebration events planned include a garden party, and a special performance in September in Haworth, courtesy of Brontë Parsonage.

Well, 150 or 151 anniversary...whatever. The tour began yesterday, July 5, and these are the dates and venues:
