Now we know introducing literary elements in chronicles and articles will supposedly make a journalist look more cultured and all that, especially if he writes in the sports section (a very evil thing to say), but this was so weird:

If the championship course at Carnoustie could be compared to a 19th century novel, it would probably be Wuthering Heights - brooding, mysterious and magnificent.

Why would a golf course be compared to a 19th century novel remains a mystery. We can only conclude - by the amount of weird mention the Brontës get in the press - that all these people are truly desperate to get featured here at BrontëBlog :P
