Lady Margaret Hall is relatively new, having been founded in 1878 as the first College for women at Oxford. The College is named after Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of Henry VII. Set within 14 acres of gardens, lawns and river walks, the buildings of the College range from mid-Victorian to the early 1970’s.
