The Sisters Mortland

Or The Sisters Moorland as we thought at first that the new book by Sally Beauman was called. But no, it's Mortland. It still has a Brontë connection though:

One of Beauman’s earlier novels is a sequel of sorts to Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca, and the gothic atmosphere of that novel haunts The Sisters Mortland. So do the ghosts of Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre and Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights.

So, you see, it could be The Sisters Moorland after all :P
