A few days ago we read on Austenblog that the Austen novels were being republished under a more chicklit guise. So The Times took the chance to play around a bit and make the titles a little more "appealing" too.

We have only just found out that they also renamed other novels - Wuthering Heights among them. Here's the extremely hilarious result:

Wuthering Heights for Jilly Cooper fans
When he’s bad, he’s very bad, but when he’s wicked — he’s irresistible
Set against the glorious Yorkshire moors, the first volume of the Thrushcross Chronicles is an outrageous, lust-laden feast. The uncomfortably handsome Heathcliff arrives at the Grange without parents, money or even a horse to his name. There he meets Cathy — pure-bred, well-groomed and an expert equestrian. Before long they are tumbling in the heather, while the gorgeous, slick-coated horses look on in a state of arousal. But all that fresh air can’t be healthy, and when Heathcliff reveals his true, cruel colours, he and Cathy are locked into a destructive dance of passion.
