Jane Eyre is really a novel that has trascended all the natural frontiers of the traditional narrative. The on-going exhibition "Eyre apparent" is a good example. Theater (spoken or musical), movies, opera, you name it... But there's more. Several months ago we presented Jane Eyre, the rock band. Now we introduce you to: Janieta Eyre, the photographer and film maker.

The eccentric double and triple images by Canadian artist Janieta Eyre, (yes that is her real name) are vivid self portraits produced by a bizarre imagination. Eyre, a recent graduate of the Ontario College of Art, took up photography in 1995 and has already been widely collected and exhibited internationally and in the United States. Until next February, 16 Janieta Eyre is exhibiting at the BND Gallery in Milan. If you're interested you cand read the press release (in Italian).
