We have recently found out about a rock band (or a rock / post hardcore / indie band, as they define themselves) called Jane Eyre. They only have one record (an EP) called The Innocence of Kids. Click here to listen to some samples and read their blog.

They are from California and have been touring small venues over there during September and October and are now supposed to be in the studio recording a new album until January 2006.

So, if you add Wuthering Heights, a Danish progressive power metal and folk-metal band (whatever that means), that has been on stage since the beginnings of the 90's, we have just Anne without a band for herself. From the BrontëBlog we make a call to the rock bands out there looking for a good name: Agnes Grey or Wildfell Hall are free !

Well, as you can see, the Brontës reach everywhere. And even though we don't know how they came to be called that, there's no doubt about the origins :).
