The Kalamazoo Gazette (Michigan) informs about the new season of the
Kalamazoo Ballet Company:
``Our winter series is very exciting because we're getting prepared for the centennial year next year,'' Bullard said. The company will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the building that houses the school.
Its major production during the centennial year will be ``Jane,'' a dance about Jane Eyre, the lead in Charlotte Bronte's 19th-century classic ``Jane Eyre.'' According to

The Kalamazoo Ballet Company is an honor and charter member of the Mid States Regional Dance America and was founded by Therese Bullard in 1969. The company's artistic philosophy focuses on excellence in professional performance together with fine arts education, coupled with a commitment to developing and maintaining a varied repertoire consisting of traditional Irish, Highland and national dance. Its current repertoire includes Alice in Wonderland, Dracula, and yet to be premiered Jane Eyre; all created by Ms. Bullard and jointly choreographed with August Tye.Theresa Bullard is Artistic Director and founder of Kalamazoo Ballet and Bullard School. She is a former member of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the New York Radio City Music Hall Ballet.
