A Russian article published in the proceedings of a recent conference:
by Sokolova, A. Yu., Bortnikov, V. I., Соколова, А. Ю. and Бортников, В. И.
Language in the field of professional communication: collection of materials of the international scientific and practical conference of teachers, graduate students, undergraduates and students (Yekaterinburg, April 20, 2023). - Yekaterinburg: Publishing House "Azhur" LLC, 2023. - S. 207-214.

The article aims at comparing V. Stanevich’s and I. Gurova’s translation strategies when translating Charlotte Brontë’s novel “Jane Eyre” into Russian. It is revealed that I. Gurova strives for literal translation and accurate transmission of syntactic constructions belonging to the original era. V. Stanevich makes an attempt to convey the meaning, wishing to make the work more understandable to the Russian reader, but at the same time oversimplifies the text in certain places.
