Zaffar Kunial and Michael Stewart: Rebooting The Brontë Way

Join our writer-in-residence Zaffar Kunial and novelist Michael Stewart for an evening of conversation on the importance of nature and landscape in their own writing and that of the Brontës, and the impact they've had on evoking place through literature in the years since.
Michael Stewart is a multi-award winning author, born and brought up in Salford, who moved to Yorkshire in 1995 and is now based in Bradford. His debut novel, King Crow, was published in 2011 and won The Guardian's Not-the-Booker Award. His most recent novel, Ill Will, was released in 2018 and recounts Heathcliff's lost years. He is senior lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Huddersfield.
