Lots of things to do at the Parsonage tomorrow, July 26:
Parsonage Unwrapped: Tales from Haworth
Friday 26 July 2019
19.30 h
As we celebrate Patrick throughout 2019, we also want to celebrate the town that he and his family called home. Our collection features many remarkable artefacts pertaining to Haworth, its residents and its history, and we'll be sharing some of the more striking (and unusual) items with you as part of this special Parsonage Unwrapped event.
Brontë Treasures
Friday 26 July 2019
The Brontë Parsonage Museum is home to the world's largest collection of Brontë artefacts, manuscripts and personal belongings. Brontë Treasures offers a unique opportunity to go beyond the security cord into the Parsonage Library for a close-up viewing of some of the items not on display. During these special hour-long sessions, a member of our curatorial team will share facts and stories about a number of carefully-selected objects, offering a specialist insight into the lives and work of this inspirational family. Fascinating and moving in equal measure, Brontë Treasures is a not-to-be-missed experience.
Sun Prints
July 26th 2019 11:00am - 04:00pm
A Fabulous Friday workshop
Join us in the summer holidays for our free drop-in craft workshops. Activities run 11am-4pm and are free with admission to the Museum.
Sun Prints
Make a sun print (or cyanotype) by arranging grasses, leaves and stones onto photographic paper and letting the sun work its magic to create an intriguing negative print. Fingers crossed for good weather!
