Do you like the off-kilter comedy of Young Frankenstein and the unfulfilled longing of a Charlotte Brontë letter? Looking for something unique to do this Fall season? You've found it! The Moors is funny, creepy, and weird. It has a talking dog. It has a talking bird. It has typhus. It has corsets, a rock ballad and murder. The story looks at two Victorian-era sisters and their languid mastiff mutt living out their days on the vast and desolate landscape of the English moors. The winds shift when an eager, young governess arrives on the scene. As the fog rolls in and the mists begin to breathe, maids shift allegiances and hens fall from the sky in this eerie and amusing tale of a surreal world that overturns the ideals of power structures, gender, and class with a cheeky vivacity.
