An alert for today, January 30:
Brontë Talk with Simon ZonenblickMon 30 January 2017
18:00 – 20:00 GMT
Todmorden Library, Strand, Rochdale Road, Todmorden, OL14 7LB

Poet Simon Zonenblick - one half of Sowerby Bridge-based film venture Deep Lock Productions — will discuss, and show clips from, his forthcoming film A Humble Station? Branwell Brontë's Calder Valley Years, produced with photographer and composer Alan Wrigley, and due for release in 2017.

Simon will also be reading excerpts from Brontë poetry and prose, poems about the Brontës by himself and others, and taking a special look at Branwell in particular as we approach the bicentenary of the talented but troubled poet and painter, who lived in Sowerby Bridge while working at the railway station in the early 1840s.
