A Christmass-y alert from the Parsonage for this weekend:
Crafty Christmas
Make your own Christmas decorations in this drop-in family workshop
December 05th 2015 11:00am - 04:00pm

The Brontës and their contemporaries would have been skilful up-cyclers! Nothing would have been wasted, especially when it came to re-using old fabrics. Come and join local artist Rachael Lee in making some beautiful decorations for your tree, from scraps of felt, blankets, and even woolly jumpers! Stuffed with star anise and cinnamon, they won’t just look festive - they’ll smell like Christmas too.
Free to all museum visitors and suitable for all ages. (David Knights)
The Haworth museum will show people how to make Christmas decorations during the family workshop from 11am to 4pm.
Visitors will be able to make traditional wreaths for their front doors during workshops on December 12.
The morning session is sold out, but there may still be a space on the second workshop running from 2pm to 4.15pm.
