A whole series of events celebrating the Banagher Brontë Group Heritage Week 2025:
Friday, August 15th:

Banagher Brontë Group and invited guests ‘meet
and greet’. This will take place in Charlotte’s Way, and it will be followed with a dinner at 7pm in local hostelry, Flynn’s. If you wish to join us, please book with in advance with Flynn’s 05791 51312

Saturday, August 16th:

GALA GARDEN PARTY / BOOK LAUNCH AT CHARLOTTE’S WAY STARTING AT 2 P.M. (Eircode: R42 RY82).

Come join us at Charlotte's Way B&B, formerly Hill House, home of Arthur Bell Nicholls, Irish husband of Charlotte Brontë, for a remarkable book launch, the best of food and drinks, music and all things Brontë.
The Banagher Brontë Group is honoured to welcome Ann Dinsdale, principal curator of the Brontë Museum in Haworth and Sharon Wright, author of Mother of the Brontës , for the launch of their co-written book: LET ME IN: The Brontës in Bricks and Mortar
The book will be launched by Kay Sheehy, retired RTE Radio 1 presenter and producer of Arena, the RTE Radio Flagship Arts programme.
There will be marquees on the lawns of the beautiful garden setting, so the weather will not deter the festivities.
Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes, and if desired the dress code is Brontë!
Music act is Brid Gallagher, the former lead singer with the Kate Bush Tribute band, Army Dreamers.
The ticket price includes a signed copy of the book.
