The Trio Brontë is a chamber music formation which name is a homage to the Brontë sisters:
Lili Bogdanova, piano
Annie Jacobs-Perkins, cello
Chiara Sannicandro, violin
Trio Brontë is the 1st prize winner of the 2023 Ilmari Hannikainen International Piano Chamber Music Competition in Finland. Based in Berlin and consisting of Chiara Sannicandro (violin), Lili Bogdanova (piano), and Annie Jacobs-Perkins (cello), Trio Brontë is named after the Brontë sisters and inspired by their passion, intelligence, and companionship.
The trio comprises three outstanding young musicians each of whom have busy concert careers and have won significant prizes and plaudits from the critics including the New Yorker who found the cellist’s “hypnotic lyricism allows listeners to forget where they were for a moment”. The trio champions works by lesser-known and female composers as well as works in the traditional canon.
It's not the only Brontë trio around, though.
