Midnight Circle Productions tours this summer with a production of Wuthering Heights devised for outdoor venues:
Step into the haunting moors of the 1800s, and let Lockwood and Nelly take you on a journey back in time to experience the passion, love, hatred and betrayal in Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights.
Experience the gripping drama as it undergoes a chilling gothic retelling, set against the backdrop of stunning open air venues during the summer.
With music, movement and immersive elements, Midnight Circle Productions welcome you to their Summer tour, following the footsteps of Heathcliff and Cathy.
The Offie and Broadway World nominated theatre company, Midnight Circle, are thrilled to invite you to their second show of 2024!
Director, Nicholas Benjamin comments:
Wuthering Heights is known as one of the greatest love stories ever told, and while I'm not disputing that accolade, I often feel that it falls a little short of doing the text justice. Yes, there's love, but there's also lust, betrayal, pain, and vengeance, all wrapped up in the mystical spirituality that is the moors. Cathy and Heathcliff are so much more than ill-fated lovers. They're elemental. A burning fire constantly on the brink of destroying each other.

Several local newspapers cover the tour: Broadway World, Henley Herald, Northamptonshire Telegraph, Lincolnshire World...
