Period dramas are always very popular, and a road trip to check some of the country houses featured in films and TV series could be a great way to go off the beaten track.
The route is 404 miles and starts in London, where Bridgerton’s family home, Ranger’s House, is located.
Next, it’s a stop at Downtown Abbey, filmed at Highclere Castle in Newbury, Hampshire.
Britons can then go on to Frome in Somerset to visit Orchardleigh House, the filming location for 2006 BBC series Tess of the D’Urbervilles.
After a stop at the house of Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders, located at Arley Hall in Cheshire, road tripping Britons will head to famous Chatsworth House, near Bakewell in Derbyshire.
