The greatest one-hit literary wonder according to The Independent (Ireland):
Wuthering Heights, Emily Brontë
The greatest one-hit lit wonder of all time is undoubtedly Wuthering Heights. Although written nearly 200 years ago, the love affair between Heathcliff and Cathy is still the blueprint for a particular type of intense, passionate, destructive romance. Emily Brontë published this under the pseudonym Ellis Bell when she was 29. A year later, she died of TB, less than three months after the death of her brother Branwell; she was so thin that her coffin was only 16 inches wide. (Emily Hourican)
MyLondon presents the house in Bromley, South London, where Kate Bush wrote her song Wuthering Heights:
In March 1978, Kate Bush shook the British music scene by landing a number one spot in the charts with her seminal single Wuthering Heights.
She became the first female artist to have penned a number one in Britain, having done so at the remarkable age of only 17.
The song was thought to be totally unique at the time with Kate impossibly climbing falsettos and never letting the melody settle.
It was a song inspired by the romantic novel of the same title by Emily Brontë and sung from the perspective of the character Catherine Earnshaw who is pleading to be let into Heathcliff's house and be with him.
Kate is believed to have penned the lyrics to the song in only a few hours and did so from her flat in South London. (James Twomey)
Longford Leader interviews the soprano Emer Barry on the International Women's Day celebrations:
Alan Walsh: How will you mark International Women’s Day on Monday, March 8?
E.B.:I usually pop up a post on social media naming the women in music who have inspired me. Luckily there have been many women who have paved the way for female artists. A few years ago I released a version of Wuthering Heights to celebrate the joint birthday of Emily Brontë and Kate Bush (both born on July 30, 140 years apart!). Both are an inspiration to many.
A.W.:What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
E.B.: I think IWD is a testament to the kind of determination, passion and resilience people only find when challenged. There was a time when women had to fight to be heard at all. Even Emily Brontë had to write under the pseudonym of a man to get published. I am so grateful for that fight as it has meant more opportunities available to me in my lifetime.
Fansided discusses WandaVision (beware of spoilers):
Only being a protagonist doesn’t always equal being a hero. Literature and film are full of villain protagonists like Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights and Walter White of Breaking Bad. They serve to remind us what complex creatures we human beings really are, that we are capable of evil, selfishness, and cruelty as much as we are good, generosity, and kindness. But just because we understand them does not mean we should condone them. Feeling pity isn’t the same thing as supporting what a person does, even if they are fictional. (Mike McNulty)
We are not sure if feminist is the right word for Wuthering Heights, even if CNN Brazil says so:
Sim, 1847). (Anna Gabriela Costa) (Translation)

But probably it is more feminist than bucolic, as Minuto30 (Colombia) describes it.

El Comercio (Perú) traces the history of the female writers under masculine pseudonyms:
The topic also appears on İleri Haber (Turkey):
"Jane Eyre"in yazarı Charlotte BrontëVictoria Çağı'nın en önemli romancılarındandır. In the same Turkish magazine, Jane Eyre is also recommended:
Henüz on yaşındayken öksüz kalan Jane Eyre, dayısının evinde yaşamaya başlar.
MyMovies.it discusses Lucio Fulci's 1977 giallo Sette Note in Nero:
(Marzia Gandolfi) (Translation)
Acento (Dominican Republic) and women film directors, like Andrea Arnold:
On-Mag (France) reviews the film The Strange Woman (1947) by Edgar G. Ulmer:
