We read in The Buxton Advertiser how the
Award-winning Derbyshire theatre company Oddsocks has released its production of Jane Eyre online as part of its weekly series.
The 2004 production will be screened on the company’s YouTube channel until the end of lockdown.
Artistic director Andy Barrow, who adapted and directed the production, said: "It is perhaps one of the most popular of all our past productions; followers often ask us if we are going to tour the production again as people have such fond memories of it. (...)
All the company's online performances are free to view but audiences are invited to support the freelance creatives who made them by donating by going to http://www.oddsocks.co.uk/online-performance-donations. (Gary Bolton)
The adaptation was written by Andy Barrow.
