Tomorrow, February 4, at the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
Anne Brontë - An Introduction
February 04th 2020 02:00pm

In this, the last year of the Brontë siblings' bicentenaries, the first Tuesday Talk will focus on Anne; her life and legacy, and how ideas about her might have changed over time. Anne is often considered to be the lesser talent amonst the three sisters, but is this justified? Or did her moral compass never quite allow her to enter the stormy depths of imagination in the way her siblings did? This talk looks at Anne's early life, her place within her family, and how these formative influences may have directed her later literary achievements.
Free with admission to the Museum.
