Newmarket Kings Theatre & NOMADS are proud to present the Charlotte Brontë classic, Jane Eyre.
What is the dark secret at the heart of Thornfield Hall? Is Mr Rochester the victim of a cruel destiny or is he the instigator of an unspeakable crime? Jane, a determined young woman comes to Thornfield as a governess, having overcome a background of poverty and institutional violence.
This Gothic romance involves themes of isolation, insanity, revenge, social inequality and love. At its centre is the clash of two strong-willed characters calling into question the morality of early Victorian society
Originally written by Charlotte Brontë, this version of Jane Eyre has been adapted for the stage by Willis Hall.
