The Publick Transport production of We Are Brontë will be performed today, May 29, and tomorrow in Harrogate, Yorkshire:
Publick Transport present
We Are Brontë
29th May 2018 to  30th May
Studio Theatre, Harrogate

Created and performed by Angus Barr and Sarah Corbett
Directed by Ed Rapley
Dramaturgy by Susie Donkin
Additional performance and movement direction by Brenda Waite
Set by Dan Addyman

Morecambe and Wise meet David Lynch in this madcap reimagining of the myth, presented in Publick Transport's playful and irreverent style.
Taking the real and fictitious worlds of Yorkshire's literary siblings as their inspiration, two performers combine rigorous physical theatre with anarchic comedy to deconstruct not only gothic themes of love, madness and revenge but also themselves.
Expect wind, spooky houses and really bad coughs.
Part play, part enquiry into the act of putting on a play, this promises to be no ordinary Brontë adaptation.
Other dates of the tour:

27 May '18 - Victoria Hall, Settle
28 May '18 - Carriageworks, Leeds
29-30 May '18 - Harrogate Theatre, Yorks.
