The Week has Ursula K. Le Guin pick her '6 favorite timeless novels' such as
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (Bantam, $6).

Daily Mail comments on a few books with marriage proposals.
In classical fiction, the proposal sets the tone for the marriage, which is why even the best heroes have to do it twice. Mr Rochester and Mr Darcy both blow it the first time: they have to go away, change, then do it again properly for Jane Eyre and Lizzie Bennet to finally marry them. (Gill Hornby)
The Telegraph and Argus features Haworth Christmas Market. Nick Holland also has a post on the coming season on
AnneBrontë.org.
