An alert from the Brontë Parsonage Museum for today, September 5:
Brontë 200: Branwell Brontë and the Forgers
Monthly drop-in Tuesday Talk
September 05th 2017 11:30am - 02:00pm

The story of what happened to the Brontës’ manuscripts after their deaths is as interesting as a Brontë novel. Join Principal Curator Ann Dinsdale as she introduces the cast of villains into whose devious hands the Brontës’ manuscripts fell: Thomas J Wise, forger and one-time President of the Brontë Society; J A Symington, unscrupulous librarian; and Clement Shorter, the Brontë biographer caught up in the intrigue.

Free with admission to the Museum.
