On Yorkshire's Day, an alert from the Brontë Parsonage Museum:
Brontë 200 - Branwell and His Father
Monthly drop-in Tuesday Talk
August 01st 2017 11:30am - 02:00pm

As Patrick Brontë’s only son, it is easy for us to imagine Branwell as the favoured sibling who was rather indulged by his father. But much was also expected of him, especially as he showed such promise as a child, and Branwell felt his father’s disappointment keenly as he struggled to make his mark on the world. This talk explores the fascinating dynamics of the relationship between the two men of the Brontë family.

Free with admission to the Museum.
